I'm an energy strategist. I help build large-scale energy infrastructure and am involved deeply in all aspects - technology, finance, policy and law globally.

1. I am currently the lead energy strategist at Amazon. Before Amazon I started energy trading hedge fund and an energy services company backed by GE.

2. I stumbled into energy from designing ML/AI systems for the government. This article captures my journey.

3. I am deeply interested in both the art and science of ‘Contracts’. I spend a lot of my time developing and negotiating contracts. I love it because its akin to architecting large-scale software systems operating in the real-world. But a good contract must be short (custom), simple to implement (clear), easy to maintain and have robust exception handling for real-world operations.
